Victory!

I wish I had a "green thumb". I have all these dreams of a lush garden with gorgeous flowers, vines, a fountain or two...sigh... Well, this is a morning glory vine that has survived my "black thumb" and is bravely venturing out of an oak barrell and starting to creep up a post. Cross your fingers, maybe I'll actually get flowers!

Another Senior Session...

I really like photographing seniors, what a great time of life to record! Leaving childhood, looking toward the dreams and goals of adulthood.

Emergency Photo Shoot!

Sooo, I get a text, "what are you doing RIGHT NOW?" ummm.... sitting here, getting ready to take the kid to swim lessons... "we are having a GREAT DAY together and we want pics!" now? right now, right now? Okay, meet me at the park where the kid is doing swim lessons, we'll do it when she's done.
Family photojournalist at yer ;) service, documenting "Great Days Together". Call me when you have one of those days, I'll fit you in, I totally understand....

Matthew

Matthew so nicely agreed to "model" back in January. I was dying to get The Bentley, (see an earlier posting) as a "prop" but that is a long story. By the way, my husband DID get to drive The Bentley. And that is ANOTHER LONG STORY. I hear that story over. and over. and over.
Anyhow I found this old fire engine, that we had to trespass to get to. SHHHHH....and in our travels down an old alley we found the Dodge. Lucky day! And no one went to jail.
Matt, you did great. Thanks for helping me round out my portfolio. Enough blogging, on to editing...

Janessa's Senior Session

Well, I was wondering what props to use with this session. I found out Janessa is a drummer, how cool is that? Sooo, I used drumsticks of course for one pose. And then there's The Hair. The Hair took between 3 and 4 hours to style but what a prop! Thank you Joleen, you did a great job. The Hair had its own personal assistant, Katie. Thanks for your help Katie, you're hired!
Janessa you look lovely, thank you for making ME look good!
