"Shadow"

This weeks theme at I Heart Faces is "Shadows". Ooooh what fun! I purposely didn't look at other entries because I knew they'd be so awesome I would chicken out on attempting a "shadow" photograph. So here is what Smalls and I came up with this afternoon...She is such a trooper! Be inspired and check out the amazing entries at I Heart Faces.

  14. Would you please share your post-processing technique with us?

  15. Sure! I began with a photo that was a bit overexposed, burned in important areas such as the shadow and the details in the girl's dress. I took out distracting trees near the top of the photo to give a more open feel. I also used Florabella Collections actions- sharpen/defog,BW Champagne, and also BW mink, I believe I also used Sweet Sunshine here to give it the soft pink color. Thanks everyone for all your kind comments, it really made my week!
